Meet The Team - Export Account Manager
05 March 2021
In this weeks Meet the Team we talk to Jessica - our export account manager. We find out about Jessica's job role and what she wanted to be when she grew up and what she enjoys doing with her time when she isn't in the office (or working from home).
What is your job role at Intamarque?
I am an export account manager here at Intamarque working with our overseas customers. It's important to me to take the time to build relationships with customers and ensure that they have the right stock available at the right time for their customers.
Tell us about a typical day in your job – has this been impacted by the pandemic?
Each day is different so there isn't really a typical day for me. We always have new exciting products available and deals to discuss with our customers.
In terms of the pandemic, a lot of us are now working from home which is the only real impact. I am looking forward to being back in the office with my colleagues.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the variety that comes with in my role, each day I talk with new potential customers and learn about their businesses. I enjoy the process of establishing our working relationships and working closely together to build a successful partnership.
Why should a prospective customer choose Intamarque?
Intamarque go above and beyond to provide customer satisfaction, we understand every business and customer is different and may need to work in different ways to support them, I believe our ability to recognise this is one of our strengths.
When you were a child what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was younger I wanted to be an artist/photographer, and for many years after college I was a professional photographer. I enjoyed the job because I love speaking to and meeting new people, I feel that I have now found these qualities in my job as an export manager and within my career in FMCG distribution.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
Each weekend I enjoy taking long walks in the Cotswolds, which is near to where I live. And I love just getting back to nature (with the camera in my hand of course)!
